Understanding Xpeed Training & Weight Lifting Gloves
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN wOMEN'S AND MEN'S GLOVES?
Our men's and women's weightlifting gloves are tailored to fit the unique hand shapes and sizes of each gender. While both offer excellent grip, comfort, and protection, the men's gloves typically feature a slightly larger palm width and finger length to accommodate men's hand proportions, whereas the women's gloves are designed with a more tapered fit and smaller sizes to suit the contours of women's hands more precisely. Both options ensure a snug and comfortable fit for optimal performance during workouts. Women can still wear any glove in our range, but the smallest sizes in the Armour Lite, Armour Pro and Elite may not be as snug for those with smaller hands.
Should I wear gloves for every workout?
It depends on personal preference and the type of workout. Some people prefer to wear training gloves such as the Hyper-Lite and Hyper-Flex gloves for every workout session to maintain grip and protect their hands, while others may only use them for heavier lifting exercises or exercises that involve rough surfaces.
Can weight lifting gloves prevent calluses?
Weight lifting gloves can help prevent calluses by providing a barrier between the hands and the equipment, reducing friction and pressure on the skin. However, consistent and proper hand care, including moisturising and using pumice stones, can also help prevent calluses.
Do I need to clean and maintain my weight lifting glove
It's recommended to hand wash weight lifting gloves using mild soap and water, then air dry them thoroughly. Avoid machine washing or drying, as it can damage the gloves. Regular cleaning helps maintain hygiene and prolong the lifespan of the gloves.
Lifting Accessories
It's common for customers to also utilise lifting accressories such as straps and wraps, alongside their weight lifting gloves.
